How to read betting odds
The same value is expressed in three formats — find out what each one means.
Decimal Odds (most common)
Most betting sites in Bangladesh display decimal odds. This number shows the total return on a bet — including the stake. 2.00 means a ৳1 bet returns ৳2 in total (i.e. 100% profit).
Fractional Odds
Written in British style — the numerator is the potential profit and the denominator is the stake. 5/4 means a ৳4 bet wins ৳5 profit. See the examples above: 5/4 for Team A and 1/4 for Team B.
American Odds (Moneyline)
A plus (+) sign shows how much profit a ৳100 bet makes; a minus (−) sign shows how much you need to bet to make ৳100 profit. +125 means ৳125 profit on a ৳100 bet; −400 means you need to bet ৳400 to make ৳100 profit.
